“Ecole d’Ashikaga”

Oct. 28

Another typhoon attacked Tokyo today again.

Oh! No!

Even though the very bad condition, we held “Ecole d’Ashikaga” wne tasting party at Toranomon Store.

“Ecole d’Ashikaga” is a unique wine making school for wine lovers, operated by ”Cfa Backyard Winery” in Ashikaga.

All of the students are not wine professional but love wine a lot.

They produce wine and sell them themselves led by Mr. Masuko, the owner & winekaer of ”Cfa Backyard Winery”.

The student showed the new vintage 2016 for our customers.

I was concerned that no guests come here because of the typhoon terrible weather.

However, surprisingly, we received many guests.

I also tasted their wines.

They are not perfect but have very unique characters.

I think it is a very good challenge.

Accidently, we received Mr. Masuko with no appointment afternoon.

Everybody are surprised very much.

It was a very interesting event today.

Very good job!

Thank you very much!

In the evening, I received Mr. Philippe Carrant and Mr. Mike Rogers in Overland Wine Trade in France.

They are my wine import agents since a long time ago.

They arrived at Haneda Airport 14:00 today even though a very bad weather.

I knew a lot of flights were canceled today.

How lucky guys they are!

After the business meeting, we went to Furutoshi Ginza and had a very fine dinner.

We tasted fine Japan wines and delicious cuisines in the typhoon.

We cut the dinner short to avoid traffic problems caused by typhoon.

Then, No DOBON tonight…
