I woke up at 5:00 a.m. and went to Kooriyama City in Fukushima.
I had a business meeting with York Banimaru about Beaujolais Nouveau and Christmas Sale (!).
Then I visited at York Benimaru Yokotsuka Store.
I was happy to see a lot of Cave de Relax wine there as usual.
I take a picture at a cooking show corner.
Wine needs a cook, you know.
I went right back home soon after the meeting in Fukushima.
1st Domaine de Montredon Viognier 2016 Sample tasting
I received this sample wine from Languedoc.
I felt very concentrated fruits.
It’s a very fruity style of Languedoc white.
I think it is a very good wine.
The bottle design is as same as the second red wine today.
The color of bottle is very dark.
It doesn’t look a white wine, does it?
2nd Domaine de Montredon Cabernet Franc 2016 Sample tasting
Is this a really Cabernet Franc?
I suppose every wine lover never feel the style of the grape variety.
It is a really dark and concentrated red wine.
If I taste this by blind, I would say, “It’s probably Mourvedre.”
The nuance is similar to the Chateau Vannieres rouge I tatsed three days ago.
It is a very good Languedoc wine, too.
It looks a just red wine bottle.
