It was the second day in Hokkaido.

We visited to 10R Winery in Iwamizawa at first.

I received more visitors today.

Mr. Kamimura is a very famous chef of KAMIMURA in Niseko.

He used to be the second chef of Tetsuya in Sidney.

He came back to Hokkaido and opened his restaurant, which is one of the most difficult to make reservations in Hokkaido.

Mrs. Nagai is the owner & grape grower of Domaie Irenka in Iwamizawa.

Because she speaks French very well, she is very helpful for us.

Mr. Tamura is a sommelier in Yurakucho Wine Club, a member of staff of Cave de Relax.

His home town is Iwamizawa.

Accidently, he took summer holidays and was temporally staying in his parents house.

10R winery is the first “custom crush winery” in Japan owned by Bruce Gutlove.

He produce his own wine, of course.

He also received grapes from near grape growers and produce their own wine.

He received 50t grapes from 14 grape growers and produced wine last year.

So great!

Finally, the visit was delayed for two hours against my schedule.

It was very dense and hot visiting.

Thank you very much for Bruce and Ryoko.

Then we visited to Nakazawa Vineyard in Iwamizawa.

Nakazawa Vineyard produces very popular white wine, Kurisawa Blanc.

It is one of most difficult to buy white wines in Japan now.

At first, I apologized our big arriving late.

However, Nakazawa-san said, “You have arrived on time as we expected, because your previous visit of us is Bruce.”

Oh! he always do that!

We were guided to their vineyard.

After the inspection, Nakazawa-san served us his Kurisawa Blanc 2013.

Oh! Super rare wine!

From 2013 Vintage of the vineyard, Kurisawa Blanc was produced at 10R Winery by Mr. Nakazawa himself.

The wine is made by the wild yeast without sulfur.

“What a beautiful wine is this!”

We enjoyed it very much.

Because on the vineyard was very hot, the chilly Kurisawa Blanc was outstanding.

I was educated a lot by visiting today.

Thank you very much, Nakazawa-san.
