1st Minami-Alps Wine & Bevarage Koshu 2016 Sample Tasting

I got a sample bottle of a brand-new Koshu before release from the winery.

It is made from 100% Koshu grown in Hosaka Yamanashi.

The climate of Hosaka is cooler than other Yamanashi vineyards because of the high altitude.

Thanks of the climate, it has a very bright-floral flavor.

It has a unique style from the harmony of elegant fruits and the floral flavor.

Well, it’s a very fine Koshu wine.

Very tasty.

The winery said the retail price will be around 2000 yen.

I’ll buy this.

2nd Minami-Alps Wine & Bevarage Muscat Bailey-A 2016 Sample Tasting

All of the grapes for this red wine are from Hosaka, too.

Some of Muscat Bailey-A have too much red candy flavor.

However, I have never found such no good taste from vineyards in Hosaka.

I like this charming red berries, silky tannins and a very comfortable after taste.

The body is light but is very cool & elegant.

It was also very tasty.

I will buy this, too.
