I cooked dinner, Temaki-Sushi.

1st Sogga Pere et Fils Chardonnay Non Boise Un Cinq 2015

I don’t have any word about Sogga-san.

Why is this such super delicious?

It is made from Chardonnay grown in the vineyard of Domaine Kakuto, which is adjacent to Sogga-san’s Vineyards.

It is made by no oak cask.

Why does it have such complex aroma and flavor without cask maturing?

I love this explosive fruits, elegant citrus and well-honed minerals.

Delicious! Delicious!  Delicious!

 

 

2nd Lieu de Vin Deux Robes Violettes 2014 5000 yen

I think it is very difficult to understand the goodness of this.

It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown in the estate vineyards in Nagano.

It is a very deep wine.

I felt papers, cassis, nutmeg, tabacco, chocolate, herb, leather, etc.

I suppose there are much more flavor still behind.

I think I should wait to open this.

I think it has a big maturing potential.

 

Well, I’m sure that it is a very fine red Japanese wine.
