All the shops were crowded with a large number of customers.

Sashimi with Aji and Katsuo

 

 

At Azamino Marche, I got an extra-large Aji delivered directly from Toyosu Market at an unbeatable price of 399 yen per fish.

“Why is it so cheap?” I asked the person at the fish section.

“At this time of year, fishmongers have to sell crabs and shrimp, so no one looks at unusual species like oversized aji.

That’s why I bought a lot of unbeatable things, so I handle them all at once at an unbeatable price.”  Yes, that’s right.

 

 

I see. The aji sashimi was extremely delicious.

I bought the steak meat also at Azamino Marche, and I could get a rare part of Japanese black beef.

 

 

It’s soft, juicy, and full of umami.

 

 

The steak was also excellently delicious.

 

 

Sometimes you go out and go out to a different market than usual, and you sometimes encounter unexpected ingredients.

Domaine Pech Pouille Chardonnay 2022 1,800 yen

To match the sashimi, I opened my favorite Languedoc Chardonnay.

Grapes grown using natural farming methods are fermented by the sur lie method.

Although it is a southern wine, it has a pure taste full of clarity and coolness.

Of course, it was perfect for sashimi.

Surprisingly, it went very well with the steak with grated radish and yuzu ponzu sauce.
