May. 17
Heavy rain today. It was raining so hard that it was difficult to walk.
When the rain stopped in the evening, strong winds blew at night.
Tomorrow is forecast to be a midsummer day with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. It’s a very strange weather.

Wine of the Day
Ministry of Clouds Grenache 2023
It is a wine from McLaren Vale that I received as a souvenir from Australia.
It is said that it is made from Grenache vines that are over 80 years old and cultivated by self-rooted bushes.
It is said that this is the style of wine that feels the “now” of Australian wine the most, and it is said that it is difficult to buy locally.
What an elegant and deep taste!
It says that the alcohol content is 14.5%, but I didn’t feel alcohol at all.
If it is a blind tasting, I will say no more than 12% alcohol.
I felt a pleasant and mellow fruits taste that spreads in the mouth and a very long aftertaste.
It is the exact opposite of my image of Australian wines as big, thick, and full-bodied.
The local price seems to be about 40 Australian dollars. If you import it to Japan, the retail price is about 7,500 yen?
Thank you for the precious wine.
