Grimau@Yamanashi

Mar. 12

After Foodex Japan 2016, I took Julia and Joan to Lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi.

I want to show them Mt. Fuji.

Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was completely covered by clouds.

We couldn’t see it.

We went to Kokyu, which a modern Chinese restaurant in Lake Kawaguchi, and had a nice lunch.

Mr. & Mrs. Miyazawa are wine friends of mine.

Julia & Joan looked to be very happy for the fine cuisines.

Then we moved to Katsunuma, where is the oldest wine produce area in Japan.

I took them Chateau Mercian Wine Museum.

We saw an old guest house, old cellar, vineyard, etc.

Julia & Joan were very surprised at seeing the wine making in Japan 130 years ago.

Finally, we arrived at Isawa Onsen, where is an old onsen spring resort in Yamanashi.

We enjoyed a lot nice local foods, fine Yamanashi wine & Priorat wine at dinner.

Also we enjoyed to take a nice onsen bath.
