The sixth Chase the Grape wines are now on sale.
This release is two types of wine, mainly Chardonnay and Koshu, produced at Nara Prefecture’s first winery “Kidani Wine”, which is attracting attention.
Today’s identity is a blend of 81% Chardonnay, 12% Seigerrebe, 5% Aligote, and 2% Muller-Turgau grown by Takashi Yano of SOL CARAVAN, a viticulturist in Yamanashi. It has been fermented with wild yeast and matured without the addition of sulfurous acid.
I felt gorgeous fruits flavor, wide acidity, and mild but strong minerality.
You can clearly feel the elegance of Chardonnay and the sweet aromas and flavors of Seigerrebe.
I thought it was a unique and very good wine.
