Montagne Noir Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Apr. 6

Today, I went out with daimajo-sama to see the cherry blossoms in the Tsurumi River.

The sky was cloudy, but the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.

It was very beautiful.

Today’s dinner was Sukiyaki.

I bought Japanese black beef from Tochigi.

The flesh was tender and juicy and tasty.

Montagne Noir Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 1,500 yen

Montagne Noir is a private brand that I developed and imported for GRN, a wine importer.

Like Relax Wine, it does not use any additives such as preservatives, gum arabic, or ascorbic acid.

The use of sulfite required during brewing is also kept to a minimum level that is surprising to the professionals

I felt berry fruits flavor with clearly expressed characteristics of Cabernet, well-balanced acidity and elegant tannins.

I think the nuances of moderate aging of the 2020 vintage are outstanding for a wine of this class.

It’s a Cabernet Sauvignon, but it comes in a Burgundy-shaped bottle.

It went well with today’s Japanese black beef sukiyaki.
