No Wine Day

It is the National Foundation Day, today.
I don’t think Tuesday’s national holiday is not so often.
It’s kind of weird.
For dinner today, I made Temaki-sushi.
Hon-Maguro, Madai, Sayori, Mackerel, Sardines, Salmon, Sushi-shrimp, Tuna-mayo, Cucumber
Temaki-sushi is delicious, but I feel that the price of sashimi is also much higher.
1st Oriol Rossell Cuvee Especial NV 1,600 yen
Actually, I opened it yesterday. There was about half left, but the foam was kept firmly.
I think the foam holding is very worth.
According to the winery, skilled craftsmen make the moving bottles by hand, so the bubbles blend finely.
It’s more evidence than theory.
2nd Turckheim Riesling 2022 2,000 yen
Since it’s Temaki-sushi today, I wanted to drink a little better wine than usual, then I chose Alsace Riesling.
I felt an elegant and rich fruits flavor, refreshing acidity and moderate minerality.
As always, this Riesling is an excellent piece of balance and dignity.
Good sushi and good wine are the strongest.
