I had a sales promotion booth at Foodex Japan 2016 to support Grimau Winery in Penedes Spain.
I have been importing the wine since 1999, when I opened Cave de Relax.
Joan Nicolas, the owner of the winery, came to Japan several times to join in the event before.
However, he took his daughter, Julia, to Japan at the first time.
She is very happy because she has been interested in Japanese culture from her kids age.
Grimau is a very small winery in Penedes.
All of the wines are produced from organic grapes from their own vineyards.
Trancadis is a very popular a sparkling wine in Cave de Relax.
We received a lot of, amazingly many visitors, to our booth.
I was unbelievably busy.

After the event, I took them Omoide Yokocho, an old drinking palace, in Shinjuku because of the requested from Joan. They wanted to feel Japanese traditional-deep culture.
They were very excited in the deep culture.
We enjoyed a lot for nice yakitori and sashimi with BYO Grimau Cabernet Sauvignon.
Finally, we went to New York Bar at Park Hyatt Tokyo and enjoyed a different Japanese deep culture.
