Nov. 10
It is a cold day.
For dinner today, I cooked my first Kiritampo-Nabe of the season.
I made soup by simmering the bones and bird skin of chicken from Iwate, from the morning.
I couldn’t get Seri, so I added Mitsuba and Wasabi-na instead.
Kiritampo hot pot is delicious.
Wine of the Day
Domaine Natusme Kamakura Winery Delaware Pink Orange 2022
It is an orange wine made from Delaware in Yamagata Prefecture.
No extra additives are used, and after produced with as little modification as possible, it is bottled unfiltered without tartar treatment.
It has a fluffy, relieving taste with firm acidity, subtle tannins, and a pleasant minerality.
This style of Japan orange wine may be divided into likes and dislikes, but I like it very much, just like Domaine Beau the other day.
Good luck, Natsume-san. I’m rooting for you.
