Sauteed Cod, Scallops and Shrimp
Edamame, which I used to eat almost every day, is almost at the end of the season.
1st Oriol Rossell Xino-Xano Blanc 2022 1,350 yen
It is an organic wine from Penedes, Spain.
It is a blend of local varieties Xarel-lo and Muscat.
I felt a transparent fruits flavor, clean acidity, and moderate minerality.
There is a soot and a pleasant feeling that seeps into the body through the throat.
This wine is my point.
2nd Oriol Rossell Xino-Xano Tinto 2022 1,350 yen
The red is a blend of Merlot and Syrah grown organically.
It has a black berry fruits flavor reminiscent of prunes, rich acidity, mellow tannins and a soft mouthfeel.
While having a solid body, the smooth aftertaste is impressive.
