Squeezing the Juice

Dec. 24

It’s Christmas Eve.

I harvested Cabernet from the garden the other day, but I remembered that I had left it in the refrigerator and decided to squeeze the juice.

I removed the stems, squeezed them with a juicer, and strained them with a draining net.

Rich and delicious!

I could only get one glass, but if I made it into wine, it would be a good wine.

Well, a glass is not enough to make wine.

I was planning to eat out tonight, but an accident occurred and I changed to Sukiyaki at home.

Japanese black beef from Hokkaido, cut off, but it was very delicious.

There were also raw oysters and gourd sashimi caught in Sagami Bay.

1st Oriol Rossell Cuvee Especial NV 1,500 yen

It’s Christmas Eve, so the first bottle is the promised sparkling wine.

Not Champagne, but Oriol Rossell.

It is the best seller Relax Wine, which is a handmade Spanish Cava.

I felt fine-grained and elegant foam, clear and clean acid, outstanding minerality.

After all, Oriol Rosser is a special sparkling wine.

2nd Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2022 1,580 yen

This BIO wine has become a staple in my Sukiyaki.

The rich and thick fruit flavor fits perfectly with the sweetly seasoned Sukiyaki in my home.

This is delicious!

Merry Christmas!
