1st Kobe Reserva Chardonnay Non-Filtration 2021 3200 yen
I was in charge of this new wine making project.
It is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Kobe and produced by some natural wine making method.
It was my regular quality check tasting.
I felt natural-pure fruits, elegant acidity and nice minerals.
I felt the body had grown in thickness than before.
I am sure again it is a very fine Chardonnay.
2nd La Grande Colline Japon Syokoshi 2020
Mr. Ohoka, the owner and winemaker of the winery, is a world famous BIO wine producer.
It is made from 90% Syokoshi and 10% Fuji-no-Yume, both which are Japan hybrid grape variety.
It was fermented by wild yeast without sulfur and additives.
At first, I felt some oxidation nuance.
But very big fruits appeared on the nuance soon.
Then I found very comfortable grape essence, unique grape acidity and fine minerals.
This red wine were getting better and better by each glass.
Finally, I found out it was a very special wine.
I regret that I opened this one too much casually.
