Sashimi Today

 

 

The leftover of Kimuchi Nabe yesterday became Kimuchi Zosui, a rice soup.

 

 

Very good!

 

 

 

1st Turckheim Pinot Blanc 2019  1680 yen

It is made from 100% Pinot Blanc grow in Alsace.

I felt rich fruits, clean acidity and comfortable minerals.

I don’t taste 100% Pinot Blanc so often.

I found this one was very elegant and tasty.

It is an interest thing tasting unusual grape variety.

It was very good for sashimi today.

 

 

2nd Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone 2020  1580 yen

It is made from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grown in south Rhone by organic method.

I was going to taste this one yesterday but I didn’t.

I thought Kimuchi Zosui needed some full-bodied red wine.

Then I carried over it.

I felt a lot of red berries, pure acidity and elegant tannin.

It has a high alcohol degree but the taste is soft and elegant.

The elegant taste is caused by the non-sulfur wine making, I think.
