1st Chase the Grape Field Blend 2021 2800 yen

This is the third vintage of Chase the Grape, which is the test wine making by Mr. Dai NAITO, who is studying the wine making.

The first vintage is Sauvignon Blanc in Yarra Valley Australia and the second vintage is Chenin Blanc in South Africa.

This one is a macerated white wine made in Japan.

It is made from the mixed cultivation vines of Koshu and Muscat Bailey-A with a little Chardonnay grown in Yamanashi.

The grapes were macerated for two day and fermented by wild yeast.

After 6 months maturing, it was bottled by non-filing and non-filtered.

The taste is very pure and natural.

Even though a low alcohol, I felt very rich fruits and clean acidity.

It has the nuance of some orange wine.

I am sure it is a very fine Japan wine.

2nd Hamada Vineyard Chardonnay 2020  5500 yen

It is the release Japan wine from Relax Wine.

It is  the third vintage of the winery.

Mr. Hamada, the owner of the vineyard, used to be a doctor.

After his long carrier, He quit doctor and started a grape growing in 2013.

It is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in the estate vineyard in Mikasa Hokkaido.

The grapes are fermented by wild yeast without sulfur.

I felt marvelously concentrated fruits aroma, fabulously elegant acidity, tremendously comfortable mineral and very long after taste.

I felt as if I were tasting some great Burgundy white wine.

I am sure again that this one is one of the top Chardonnay wines in Japan.

If you are interested in Japan wine, you must buy this one.

Total product is 1323 bottles.
