Sukiyaki with Rubaiyat

I was gifted an expensive Sukiyaki beef from my friend.

Then I had a Sukiyaki dinner today.

 

 

That’s gorgeous!

 

I had nice oysters, too.

1st Rubaiyat Sauvignon Blanc 2020  3190 yen

I bought this one at the winery last year.

It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in the estate vineyards in Katsunuma.

The wine is produced in stemless tank avoiding contact with the air as possible.

I felt very fresh-elegant fruits, fine citrus, good minerals.

It was a gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc.

Even though it is a real dry white wine, I felt some comfortable sweetness.

It was very good for both oysters and sukiyaki.

 

 

2nd Rubaiyat Koshu Kamoshi 2020  2420 yen

I bought this one at the winery, too.

It is made from 100% Koshu grown in the two estate vineyards, Miyaoshita-en and Koizumi-en, in Katsunuma.

It is an orange wine. The color is a beautiful rose.

The wine is macerated with grape skins and seeds.

I felt big volume fruits, clear acidity and comfortable tannins.

This big body is different from other ordinary Koshu wine.

It was very good for sukiyaki today!
