I had a Yakiniku BBQ dinner today.
Very good!
1st Marquis de Beau Rond Chardonnay 2019 870 yen
This 2019 Vintage of MBR Chardonnay is great.
I love the clean fruits, good acidity and fine minerals.
Because of a good maturing, the taste gained some elegant richness.
It is a very fine Chardonnay.
I think it is an outstanding white wine in the class.
2nd al & dile Merlot 2018 1650 yen
Because the first white wine was so tasty, I drank up the bottle very quickly.
Then I opened the second wine without hesitation.
I tried to taste al & dile for two days straight.
It is a very fine Merlot as well as Pinot Nero I tasted yesterday.
I felt a rich body, concentrated fruits and elegant tannins.
I also felt a unique-sharp acidity of the north Merlot.
I was sure again that al & dile was so delicious.
I was going to stop drinking at half but I couldn’t.
No Way!
