1st Feudo Amtico Tullum Rosso Biologico 2018  Sample Tasting

It is a new arrival wine imported by Hakutsuru Shuzo, which is the major sake brewery in Japan.

I am in charge of a consultant for the wine division of Hakutsuru.

It is made from 100% Montepulciano grown in Tullum DOCG Abruzzo by organic method.

Tullum is the smallest DOCG in Italy, I heard.

It is fermented by wild yeast and bottled by non-filtered.

I didn’t expect so much this one but it was just my favorite style of BIO wine.

I like the dense fruits, fine acidity and mild tannin.

The taste was really elegant.

I enjoyed a seamless mouthfeel very much.

It is a very, very nice Montepulciano, isn’t it?

The retail price 3,000 yen, is reasonable, I think.

Hakutsuru-san, you did a very good job!

Anyway, I wanted to drink more….
