Declassified?

Dec. 18

I have been very busy.

I came home late and drank.

1st Plaimont Grand Heron Blanc 2014  1000 yen

It’s so tasty!

It is made from Colombard and Ugni Blanc grown in Gascogne, South-West France.

It’s a very aromatic white wine.

I like this fresh and sharp fruits very much.

I felt a sweet flavor even though it’s a dry type white.

It has a fine acidity and minerals, too.

Tasty!

2nd Chateau de la Maltoiye Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2013  2450 yen

OH! It’s very tasty! So tasty, too!

It is a just my taste.

I love this charming-elegant red berries.

It is the Pinot Noir for me.

Chateau de la Maltoiye is very well-known as one of the best white Burgundy producers.

However, they also produce very fine Chassagne Montrachet rouge.

As this AOC Bourgogne is named “Chateau”, the all Pinot Noir came from the estate vineyards.

They have Pinot Noir vineyards in only Chassagne Montrachet, I suppose.

It means this red is declassified one.

The price 2450 yen is super bargain, I think.
