Nodoguro!

Aug. 7

I got a fresh Nodoguro, one of the finest grade fishes in Japan.

I cooked it.

Then I had Temaki-Sushi dinner.

Delicious!

1st Kizan Wine White 2019  1450 yen

I often choose this one for Temaki-Sushi.

Kizan Wine is a family-owned winery & vineyards in Enzan Yamanashi.

It is a very small but very excellent winery.

This one is made from 100% Koshu grown in Enzan.

I felt pure fruits, beautiful acidity and outstandingly fine minerals.

It is a really elegant Koshu wine.

2nd Domaine Petit-Roy Cotes de Nuits-Villages 2018  5400 yen

Petit-Roy is owned and operated by Mr. Seiichi SAITO in Burgundy.

He went to France in 2006 and worked at several fine wineries in Burgundy.

He established his own winery in Chorey-Les-Beaune in 2017.

I tried to taste Petit-Roy at the first time.

Well, it is a very fine Burgundy red wine.

I felt big fruits, fine acidity, seamless tannin and rich mouthfeel.

The taste was dense and elegant.

I think it has a long mature potential.

I want to try to taste this one again in the future.
