I joined to DEXPO2016 organized by Kakuyasu, one of the biggest wine & liquor trading company in Japan.
A lot of wine & liquor professionals in food business gathered to the event as usual.
My booth received many attendants.
I was so busy. Thank you very much!
After the event, I received Mr. Francois Lieubeau, the owner & winemaker of Famille Lieubeau in Muscadet Loire and invited to him dinner at YWC.
He came to Japan at the first time.
Cave de Relax started importing his wine the end of last year.
The winery established in 1816.
From his generation, he produces not only Muscadet but also varietal wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Franc, etc.
Recently, the winery has got a very high reputation.
We met the first time but I felt as if we were old friend.
Actually, we found we had many same friends in wine business.
I am sure again that good winemakers knows good winemakers.
We tried to taste fine Japanese wines I chose and the top Muscadet wines he produced.
They were outstanding!
We enjoyed a lot very nice wine with very nice dishes.
It was a fantastic night!
