The coronavirus situation has been getting worse and worse in big wine countries.
France, Italy and Spain were locked out.
So terrible…
1st Ualar Gladstone Sauvignon Blanc 2018 2800yen + tax It is made from 100％ Sauvignon Blanc grown in Martinborough, New Zealand.
The winery was bought by Japanese person recently.
I felt very rich fruits, fresh citrus and fine minerals.
I am sure again that it is an outstanding Sauvignon Blanc in this class in the world.
2nd Urlar Gladstone Pinot Noir 2018 3500 yen + tax Oh! The taste has changed a lot comparing when I tasted before.
The fruits was closed I tasted before but I felt a lot of charming red fruits today.
I like the concentrated red berries, very nice acidity, elegant tannin and comfortable after taste.
I think if it were Burgundy Pinot Noir, the price should be over twice.
