The most powerful collaboration?

Sep. 10

I opened some great wines today.

1st Domaine Larue Puligny-Montrachet

Sous le Puits 2015

I like this winery very much.

This Sous le Puits is the flagship of the winery.

As soon after I opened this one, the taste was very closed.

For a while later, a lot of fine tastes came up.

I enjoyed the super elegant fruits, acidity and minerals.

I was sure again that Larue Sous le Puits was an outstanding vineyard.

2nd Coco Farm Coco-10R Pinot Noir 2017

It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Kimura Vineyard in Yoichi.

Mr. Bruce Gatlove produced this one at his 10R Winery in Iwamizawa.

I visited to both places last week.

Anyway, it is a truly outstanding Pinot Noir in Japan, I think.

I love these complex berries, deep-comfortable taste, elegant-silky tannin and some voluptuous flavor thanks of Kimura Vineyard.

Bruce pulled out the big potential of Kimura Vineyard perfectly.

This Pinot Noir is even equal to Burgundy great wine, I think.

The collaboration between Kimura-san and Bruce is the most powerful one in Japan, I think.
