The second day in Iwate

Jul. 24

It was the second day in Iwate.

I went to Matsukawa Geothermal Power Plant.

It is the oldest geothermal plant in Japan.

Then I left Hachimantai and moved to Morioka City.

I sightsaw the central Morioka today.

Former Iwate Bank Head Office

Stone Cherry Tree

Morioka Castel

I bought some souvenirs at old houses.

Then I had an early dinner at a traditional see food restaurant.

I enjoyed very fresh see foods with a local sake.

After the dinner, I went to Nuef-du-Pape, a very popular wine bar in Morioka.

I tasted their original local wine made by Takahashi Vineyard.

It was so tasty.

I took a memorial photo with Mr. Ito, who is the owner of the wine bar.

Then I took a late Shinkansen to Tokyo took about two hours.

When I was young,I took an overnight train from Morioka and came back Tokyo next morning.

The time has quite changed.
