1st Clamens Jules 2017 Sample Tasting
This sample bottle is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Fronton AOC in South-West France.
Fronton is not popular wine produce area.
A few French people know the AOC, I heard from the winery.
I tasted another sample red wine bottle from the winery last May.
It was so nice.
I bought the red wine and will soon receive them.
This sample is also very nice.
I felt a very fine acidity, clean fruits and minerals.
It’s just my taste.
But the price might be too expensive than I expect.
2nd Clamens Justine 2016 Sample Tasting
The red wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot, Syrah and Negrette.
Negerette is not popular grape variety only grown in AOC Fronton.
This red wine is also very nice.
I felt elegant fruits, silky tannin and good minerals.
The alcohol degree is not high.
It’s just my taste, too.
I am sure that Clamens is a very unique and fine winery.
