Summer Holidays

Aug. 5

No Wine Day

Aug. 6

I take four days summer holidays from today.

I will have a two-nights-three-days trip to Sado Island.

Sado Island is the number six big island in Japan.

The island used to have the biggest gold mine in Japan.

It is the first trip to Sado for me.

I took a shinkansen train to Niigata at first.

I had a nice salmon lunch box at Niigata station.

Then I took an express boat to Sado Island.

The boat cruises at 80th of kilometers per hour.

After arriving Sado, I went to Toki no Mori Park and watched Toki bard, which is a very rare bird living only the island in Japan except some of place in China.

I brought nice Burgundy wine to the hotel restaurant at the dinner.

Even though the cork charge at the restaurant was 3500 yen per bottle, I enjoyed them so much with the local island dishes.

After the dinner, I went to Kitazawa Fuyu Senkojo, which are ruins of an old gold factories.

I amazed at seeing the light-up the old buildings.

Thank you very much!
