Kusunioki Winery is So Nice

Feb. 20

It was the best condition at Yakebitaiyama Ski Resort today, too.

Tempreture in the morning was -14℃.

It was very cold but very calm.

I could see the diamond dust on the top of the mountain.

I skied several long courses before lunch.

Then I went down the mountain and arrived at JR Nagano Station early evening.

I found a nice sake & wine bar named Kamoshi at the station building.

You can taste many fine local wines by the glass with very reasonable price.

I was so happy to taste fine Nagano wine by the glass.

Especially, Kusunoki Winery Pinot Noir, which is one of the most popular, most difficult to find Pinot Noir in Japan, was outstandingly tasty.

Then I walking around central city in Nagano and found a nice wine bar named Sirocco.

Fortunately, I found Kusunioki Winery Passage Rouge 2013.

It was also an outstanding red wine in Japan, I thought.

All of the dishes were very tasty, too.

Finally, I found a nice standing bar named “Mokkiri” near the station.

I found Kusunoki Winery again on the wine list.

I tasted Yoroizuka Rose and Passage Rouge again by the glass.

Surprise, Surprise!!!

Accidently, I met Mr. Nishino, who is the owner of Traumerei in Hakuba, which is the very popular restaurant & hotel in Nagano.

He is my client and very old friend.

It was very, very fine trip.

Thank you very much!
