1st David Duban Bourgogne Houtes Cotes du Nuits 2002 2300 yen Oh ! It was really nice. It was really nice. I can not explain well how really nice but it was really nice as velvety. I think it is outstanding Burgundy white in the class. 2nd Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2001 2300 yen Jean Grivot has been one of the best Domaine for me for long time. But I also have had "very wild" image with the winery since Etienne, the fifth owner of the winery, started producing their wine. After his adventure, the wine seems to be getting stable recently. I think this is also outstanding Burgundy Pinot Noir in the class. I enjoyed it very much with comfortable aroma, good balance of taste, charming fruits nuance and solid body. |
