The new lot is definitely better than the old one.
It is fresh, crisp and fruity. I also found the taste with green tea nuance.
I think it is very good for Japanese foods.

Chateau Mercian Yamanashi Bailey A

This unique red was made by 100 % Muscat Bailey A harvested in Yamanashi Japan.
After fermentation, the wine was matured in small oak barrel. Only 3000 bottles are released.
The taste was very unique. Initially, I found some smell like a kind of wine made by wild grapes. Then very nice acid and very charming red fruits was coming up. I thought it is adult wine. I guessed the taste might be similar with Barbera in North Italy.
I prefer this very much.
You should try this if you love Japanese wine.
