| 1st Chateau Mercian Koshu-Chardonnay 2005 1500 yen This was a Japanese Nouveau. A lot of Japanese Nouveaus are made as sweet type but this was very elegant dry white wine. I prefer this real fruits taste very much. I felt this was very good balance of Koshu and Chardonnay. 2nd Cave de Re-Lax Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2005 1950 yen I was sure again the 2005 Beaujolais Nouveau was outstanding. I think we often find a little bitter and stimulus with the Nouveau, but there were no such kind of one with this wine. I enjoyed very much a beautiful fruits taste. It was like a Bourgogne fine red wine. I am usually satisfied by drinking Beaujolais Nouveau once a year but I want to drink 2005 Nouveau more and more. I am sorry we do not have enough stock. It was also very good for the Tonyu-Nabe. |
