I was going to have "No wine day" today. But I gave up to have it because I found oysters, which was released first time in this season, very good Kegani crab and reeled Madai at my favorite fishshop.
I cooked oyster, boild Kegani crab, Sashimi and Acqua pazza. It was too difficult not to drink wine.
1st
Neil Ellis Sauvignon Blanc 2005
1450 yen New vintage
Oh ! The cap has changed to a screw. It was convenience on the table.
The quality for the Sauvignon was getting better and better by changing the vintage.
It was very very good balance for pepper, fruits and mineral. It was so delicious.

2nd

I drank some wine the restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco last week with eating a crab. This is Oregon Pinot Noir.
Accidentally, I was given the wine by some new American wine importer. It was the typical north taste of Pinot Noir, soft, natural, easy, very good balance. I also felt a lot of sweet aroma.
Very good wine !
