The tour had a lot of plans today.
At first, we went to Diamond Creek, which is a well known winery as the first "boutique winery" in Napa. Even the cheapest wine is priced over 20,000 yen. It was very difficult to enter the winery. We were very lucky.
Mr.Phil Steinschriber, winemaker, guided us kindly.
Then we went to Grgich Hills, well known "Bio Dynamic" winery in Napa.
A several big wineries gathered for our tour. We tasted their wine.
Oh! Mr.Mike Grgich has came. he is owner of the owner and is a very famous legendary winemaker as
the winner of white wines at the "Paris Tasting in 1976", California vs French wine.
We were very pleasure to meeting him.
Then we had a lecture about "Bio Dynamic" ,a popular natural grape growing method.
After the lecture, we had gorgeous lunch with many winery's people.





Then we went to Trinchero to attend a seminar named "What is Wine Aroma". We were excited for the game style study very much.
Finally, we went to Trefethen Vineyards and tasted amazing old big Cabernet Sauvignon wines in Napa.

What a gorgeous tremendous wines they were!
After the big tasting, we had also had a great dinner at the cellar of Trefethen.
Mr. Loren Trefethen, a son of the owner, hosted us.
He told me he had a plan to be in Japan next October.
I have promised I will take him gorgeous sushi dinner in Tokyo.
We also had a wonderful dishes and super wines.
Especially, I was so impressed by Terefethen noble late harvest Riesling 2001. It was the best sweet wine I had drunk this year for me.
