Trefethen Napa Chardonnay

Trefethen is one of my favorite winery in California. I did not drink this for long time.
Oh ! it was really great ! I felt very good natural touch and elegant fruits complex a lot rather than big body which California Chardonnay often has.
I thought this is something similar with Andre Bonhomme Vire Clesse I drank yesterday.

Ironstone Vineyards Shiraz

Sierra Foothills is well known wine produce area as big volume of table wine before. But it is said few wineries are getting produce high quality wine with reasonable price recently. Ironstone is a leading winery there. I was sure it is true.
This was really nice Shiraz. I enjoyed very good balance, very good harmony for fruits, tannin, acid, mineral and alcohol.
I thought the price 1400 yen was very reasonable. It is very tasty. If I drink this with blind, I probably say it would be Syrah from South France.
So I never try blind tasting recently.
