New vintage
"Oh ! This is great !" I remember the previous vintage 2002 had a strong acidity. But this 2003 was really nice, very good balance.
Generally talking, Alsace Sylvaner often had too much acidity. But this was a really good taste.
I heard in Alsace, there were a lot of trouble to make wine caused on the short of acidity because the weather of there 2003 was extraordinary hot and very small raining.
Then Sylvaner which has originally much acidity might be very good in 2003. This was very delicious. I want to recommend this strongly.
2nd
Montupoli Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
2002 950 yen New vintage
"Oh ! This is also delicious !" This South Italian red wine has re-arrived with new vintage and new label. I think this 950 yen is super reasonable. Rich,fruity,smooth,full-bodied but easy to drink.
I like the typical flavor of South Italian for me.
It was really tasty. I thought it is a great vintage of 2002 in South Italy.
