Apr 21 I attended a wine party to celebrate for the new vintage of Beau Paysage, which is the " Japanese Cult Wine " made in Tugane Yamanashi.

Mr. Okamoto, owner and winemaker, grows grapes and makes wine himself alone. Only less than 200 cases are produced per year. It was a really small winery but was a really outstanding wine.

I met him around three years ago. Then I tried his wine sevral times and My heart was always swung a lot at that time. THe party was held at "Canoviano" in Daikanyama, a very famous and popular Italian Restaurant in Tokyo. I saw Mr.Okamoto's suits stayle first time. He looked very nice. His talking was very shy and silent but I felt a lot his extraordinary passion for making wine.
All dishes were special one for the wine party made by Mr. Uetake, very famous Italian chef in Japan. They were really nice, outstanding.
