I went to "DAVIS, too" a restaurant which newly opened last week near Cave de Re-Lax.


The restaurant is owned by Ms. Seiko DAVIS who owns a famous wine restaurant "DAVIS" in Takanawa.

She has been one of our very good clients since our store opened. I always admire her a eye for selecting wines.
I was surprised to find an underground wine cellar behind the small door.
The wine list had a good selection of wines.
There are many reasonably priced wines, between 3000 yen and 5000 yen a bottle, which is outstanding in Tokyo.

All dishes were also excellent, fabulous !

Roast Chicken
They were really tasty.
All of the dishes in the picture, except for the Carpaccio, were served in a half portion.
I found each portion, priced around 1000 yen-2000 yen, rather big for most Japanese people.
So sharing a dish will be a good idea at DAVIS,too.

Seiko had bought this from me.
I bought back this very-good-mature Corbieres tonight. We do not have any stock of the vintage now.


All the guests except us were foreign people.
Oh ! International !
It is really nice thing that a very good restaurant opens in the neighborhood.

Then we moved to west a lot.
I went to "unknown", a malt bar in Seiseki-Sakuragaoka, and drank some malt whisky.
I enjoyed Crynelish 14 years old.
