Morning has come. It was morning in Hakuba. I was OK even though I had drunk so many bottles last night except I was deadly sleepy. I well noted good Japanese wines were good for the next morning.
I had a lot of phone calls to my mobile because there were still a lot of Beaujolais Nouveaus left in Lyon.

Anyway, I went to Obuse winery from Hakuba.
I felt the history of the winery from the building.
I heard a lecture of the winery from Mr.Soga, owner and winemaker, and tasted new wines from the cask.
Obuse winery is well known by excellent Merlot but he has tried a lot of varieties of wine. Syrah, Viognier, Sangiovese etc.
I found casks of Amarone ! I also tried to taste this one.
The shop of the winery was nicely displayed.
Obuse wine is very popular in Japan but they produced only small quantity, so it is difficult to find.
Good news ! We are going to able to deal the wines a bit. I am looking forward to receiving them.

There were a lot of apples around the winery.
Then I came back home at late knight.

Plaimont Les Bastions Rouge 2002
sample tasting

Both of them were from Cotes de Saint-Mont, South-West France.
Plaimont was very popular brand in Cave de Re-Lax before. But they have been out of stock in our shop due to some reasons.
It seemed we were going to deal them again. Both red and white were really nice.
