| Oct 21 I took a physical examination today. Doctor warned me that I had to reduce my drinking of wine otherwise I was going to have big problems near future. Oh ! My ! .... I will reduce my drinking.... But I cooked dinner tonight. Iksasashi, Bonito Carppacio, Roast Vegetables and Roast Chicken. They were very nice. |

1st Domaine Michel Coutoux Bourgogne Chardonnay 2001 1900 yen I remembered Mr. Michel Coutoux was a son-in-low of a famous Mr. Michel Niellon, owner of Domaine Michel Niellon. This was the first time that I drank this Burgundy white. Oh ! It was a very beautiful style. I felt a peach smell & flavor much. I thought this was like a good Viognier. This was not so strong, but elegant and very good balance. I was going to reduce drinking. Then I drank this slowly and stopped drinking at half. I knew what a blessing good wine was !?@?@ 2nd Domaine Baillat Corbieres 2002 1100 yen This was so nice ! The typical very nice Syrah in South France. The vintage 2002 was so elegant and very good balance. I love this ! I was not able to stop drinking at half. |
