It was the first time for Arnaud that he tasted a Koshu variety. He enjoyed the wine very much especially Gris de Gris, the beautiful color and the unique character. I often heard the very good reputation of Kusuda Wines Pinot Noir 2002 before. ( 5775 yen at Asahiya Winecellar http://www.asahiya-wine.com/frNZL.htm ) It was the first time for me that I try to taste the bottles. Oh! It was really nice ! The outstanding Pinot Noir ! I thought it was as like a Prieure Rock very good vintage ! Very concentrated, deep and deep ! What a wonderful Pinot Noir ! Oh! I drank too much and missed the last train as usual.... |
