1st G de Chateau Guiraud 2001 1239 yen
Chateau Guiraud is well known excellent winery in Sauternes Bordeaux,
which is famous as noble rot sweet wine.
But this was dry white of the Chateau.
There were big volume of fruits and acidity. I could not recommend
this to a customer who didn't like acidity.
However, this kind of wine had a big potential of a long-very-good
mature for the future,
I thought. I was very interesting in it with paying only 1200 yen around.
This was also gift form Mr.Shimamoto, my old friend living in Canada.
The wine made from Costieres de Nimes, where is at the mouth of Rhone liver,
the border between Rhone and Languedoc.
I guessed the Grape was Grenache ? or Cinsaut ?
Anyway, it was also really nice red ! Soft, mild, elegant, complex, full-bodied.
