4/18 I cooked a dinner at first time since I came back from Europe. Salad Tuna and MADAI

1st Bouchard P&F Saint Veran 2001 1554 yen I thought 1554 yen for the bottle was reasonable price. We could sometime find such a very good Saint Veran, is white wine made from Macon, located in south Bourgogne. I felt a something strong acidity. It may be still young.

2nd Moulin de la Gardette Gigondas 2001 2600 yen Mr.Jean-Baptiste Meunier, owner of the winery.

He is a kind of artisan. His wine-making is always very strict. His Gigondas, made by 100% organic method, has a reputation as one of the top Gigondas wines. I drank 2001 vintage first time today, and was very impressed the quality of it. Dark, concentrated, full-bodied. Also elegant, natural, a lot of fruits, very good balance!
