Of course I had a Temaki Sushi dinner at the first day came back Japan. I was going to say "I didn't have it for long days", but I had it 3 days ago in London. 1st YU-FU-IN Chardonnay barrel The Japanese white wine was sent me by Mr. Ishizaka, a member of our staff, when he had a trip in Kyushu. Very good balance, a lot of fruits, very good cask flavor.I thought it was very expensive wine, isn't it ? It was a very good Chardonnay. 2nd YU-FU-IN Merlot barrel Mr.Ishizaka told us that he didn't like this one so much. But I didn't think so, it was nice Merlot I thought. The wine had a lot of concentrated Merlot fruits taste like a new world its style. It is not easy to make such a kind of concentrated Merlot with Japanese grapes. I supposed there were many efforts to make this one at the winery. Now, It was on the way of growing up its quality. I thought that Mr.Mamanaka probably love this wine. He may give over 2.5 stars for this one.
