The second wine of the day also comes from the winery which made the first
wine I had today. The vintage of the wine has changed from 1998 to 1999.
The vintage 1999 is the new release of the winery. The wine was aged in oak
barrels for 12 months, then also was aged in the bottles 36 months.
I was surprised that the wine took such a long and careful ageing comparing
with a lot of same classed wines.
Explosive palate with rich concentrated wood aromatics with complex flavors
of blackcurrant, plums and a lot of berries. It is outstanding !
