Surprise! Unexpected SAKE Nouveau has arrived to my house from
Niigata SAKE brewery named Hakuryu which is owned by my old friend.
The label says that the SAKEハwas made on just yesterday, January 1st.
I went to Fujisawa to watch the HAKONE EKIDEN RACE ,which is
the intercollegiate match of long distance relay race very popular
in Japan,as usual on January 2nd.
Then I went to my favorite Buddhist temple named HASE-KANNON
as usual every January 2nd.
Then I went to my favorite Italian restaurant named Rondino
also as usual January 2nd.
1st The white house wine \1600( decanter service )
The restaurant house wine is always changing.
It was Chardonnay from FRIULI-State.Clean, Elegant,easy to drink.
2nd Planeta La Segreta rosso 2002 \3200 ( restaurant price )
Planeta isハone of the best winery in Sicily island.
This bottle is made by Nero d'Avola which is local grape variety and Merlot.
There are a lot of concentrated berry flavors. Very good!

Then I had SUSHI dinner on my way to home.
I drunk SAKE from the cask by woody square cap, it is traditional style
of Japanese new year.
The SUSHI restaurant is not expensive, but very good!
3rd Huber Spatburgunder Rotwein 2000
This is German red wine.
Spatburgunder is grape variety of Pinot Noir in German.
I had guessed it is light style red wine easy to drink,
but it was very good wine,full-bodied, complex and concentrated.
I regretted to open the bottles after such a too match drinking.
