I tasted sample wines.
1st Araldica Asti Secco NV Sample Tasting
It is a sample bottle from Piemonte, Italy.
Usually, Asti Spmante is made as a sweet style.
But this Asti is dry taste.
Even though I felt sweet aroma at first, the taste is really dry.
The babbles were strong but very small.
I like this dry, fruity and elegant style of sparkling wine.
I think it is very good for Japanese foods.
It may be good for a picnic lunch.
Very nice!
I will buy this.
2nd Araldica Barbera D’Asti Ceppi 2015 Sample Tasting
Ceppi seems to be an old local grape in Piemonte.
However, the name of the wine is Barbera D’Asti.
Then the grape variety is Barbera, isn’t it?
Anyway, it is a very fine Piemonte red wine.
I felt a lot of concentrated red fruits, elegant-mild tannin, fine acidity and long after taste.
I didn’t feel any taste to disturb my palate.
I ‘m sure it has an outstanding quality in this class.
I will buy this, too.
I must solve the mystery grape name before receiving the arrivals.
