No Wine Day
Jun. 11
It was a day-off.
I went to Myourakuji-Temple in Kawasaki , which is a popular spot of Hydrangea.
They were in full blooming.
So beautiful!!
Then I went to Ikuta-Ryokuchi Park and had a picnic lunch.
So nice!!
By the way to home, I bought fresh seafood and cooked dinner.
Fried Aji
Chirashi-Sushi a la Mediterranean
1st Famille Lieubeau Muscadet S&M Clison 2012. 2500 yen.
It is one of the top cuvées in the winery.
It was released after long matured by “Sur Lie”.
I felt very complexed fruits and very deep minerals.
I felt as if I had tasted some expensive Burgundy.
So delicious!!
It showed a really great marriage with Mediterranean sushi.
2nd Chateau Vannires Bandol Rouge 2012 4000 yen
I chose this fine Provence red to make a Mediterranean marriage.
It was a really outstanding Mediterranean red wine.
I felt very concentrated fruits and super dense tannin.
It showed a very high potential for a long long mature.
However, daimajo-sama said, “It is too much heavy.”
Muuuu…
Exactly, it might be too much heavy for sushi.
I was sure again that it was very important to consider the balance between food and wine.
I made a mistake again….
