It is a very fine day.
It’s not hot, not cold.
This is my most favorite season.
1st Oriol Rossell Cuvee Especial NV 1390 yen
It is our original sparkling wine made in Penedes Spain.
I have been importing this fine Cava since 1999, when we opened Cave de Relax.
It’s a really fine sparkling wine.
I love these elegant babbles, fine fruits, clean acidities and comfortable minerals.
The winery still keeps the hand operation for bottle maturing.
Mr. Antonio Rossell will come to Japan next month.
We will hold a winemakers dinner.

2nd Famille Quiot Q.E.F. Rouge 2014 1000 yen
It is made from 100% Syrah grown in South France by a famous winery in Chateaunuef du Pape.
Even though made from 100% Syrah, I didn’t feel any spicy or high alcoholic taste that Syrah often showed.
I felt a lot of sweet black fruits flavor even though it’s a dry red.
I also felt silky tannin and comfortable long after taste.
I think it is an outstandingly high quality wine in this class.
